More people are using the GM 525 manual or 605 power steering box. This universal pitman arm is 7" center to center. Universal pitman arm fits GM 525 manual and 605 power steering boxes.
- This pitman arm is universal and is not designed to fit any OEM applications.
- The small hole on this arm is double-tapered, meaning that it will accept a 7-degree tapered Ford tie rod end from either side.
- The splined hole measures approximately 1-1/16" on the side that fits toward the box.
- For 1" splined shaft.
- Arm features steering box splines full 360 degree in arm- no master splines utilized in arm

This pitman arm is 'universal' meaning that it is not for any particular car.
This pitman arm will fit 525 and 605 power steering boxes, but it will NOT fit 800 boxes (such as our 910-32500 & 910-32510)

Chevy parts in a Yanmar
Good price on a universal fit product. I am using this to replace the weak and expensive parts on a Yanmar 186 tractor. The Chevy 525 box with this arm fits the tie rod actuator on the tractor and is 4x stronger than the stock setup. Much cheaper too, but one does need to fab a bracket.

Kinda a hard pitmen arm to find work out great. 1981 z28 drag car took the power sterring box out and put a manual box in from a 1966 gto. With speedways pitman arm I kept all the geometry the same. Good job speedway!

I am using heim joints with 5/8" bolt. Measured old chevy steering arm tapered hole and it's 5/8" tapered down to 1/2". What is max diameter of this pitman arm hole. Hoping it's 5/8" and I can just drill out taper.
