Great Product
After adding a power rack and pinion to my 1951 Chevy 1/2 ton resto-mod, I wanted to retain the original column and steering wheel. This bracket is a real neat way to secure the column at the firewall. The powder coating is very nice and thick, and this product can be used either in side the cab or as I did on the outside firewall.

I used this lower mount in conjuction with the machined drop upper column mount. The portion of the floorboard where the column went into the engine compartment needed a plate which this mount was welded too. Worked perfectly. My steering column is mounted tight and safe.
