Used to add a second set of fully functional tail lights to a 1957 Chevy. Required a custom backing plate to perfectly fit the rear oval holes in the bumper, but having extra light is worth it. Many 50's cars had smaller tail lights limiting brightness and visibility. Adding another set, particularly bright LED units, will enhance safety and add a new, unique look to the 57

I would not buy this product again
The first 2 I bought 1 had 4 lights out and the other one while I was installing it the nut on the inside which is only lightly glued on came unglued. I called customer service and they sent me 1 for the one with the lights out and I had to buy one to replace the other. I definitely would not recommend these lights there expensive and poor quality.

I bought this tail light to use on a motorcycle project that I'm working on. I was having a hard time finding a light that looked good, and would fit in the space constraints that I had. I stumbled accross this oval tail light in Speedways catalog. Looked like just what I was looking for. Ordered one up and it fits the area intended just perfectly, and is REALLY bright ( a good thing on a bike)! It's light, compact, well made; and did I mention that it's REALLY bright?
