Perfect fix

I installed these on a pair of tall cast aluminum valve covers on my small block Chevy. There were holes for breathers, but none for an oil filler.I drilled a 1.25" hole at the opposite end of the covers at the same relative location as the breathers, drilled and tapped three 6-32 screw holes for securing with ss screws.I then carefully smeared epoxy on the bottom of the flange, screwed them down, and bingo!I did this to both covers so they would match.Finish exactly matched the covers.Great stuff!

Bolt on fill cap only, hard to weld hole

Tough to use it as a weld on cap when the holes are already in the flange. I had to machine the flange off in order to make a nice weldable assembly.

This was a hard to find oil filler cap you can only buy it in a complete kit and not individually (that sucked). I am glad that it works and easy to install.

Had a really nice set of valve covers that the guy before me bored too big of a hole for a push in oil cap. I was wrapping the push in oil cap with Teflon tape to keep it from falling out. In a matter of like 5 mins., with this piece, the problem was solved and it looks fantastic! Couldn't be happier
