Speedway Motors 6502428 Details

Chrome plated, fully adjustable throttle cable and automatic transmission kickdown cable bracket bolts to the corner of most 2-barrel or 4-barrel carburetors. Steel bracket locks in place and won't swivel. Works with OEM cable housings that have square plastic ends which snap into the bracket holes.

  • 0.79" large square hole for plastic retainer
  • Extra large bracket that can be swapped for the large one that is 0.54"
  • 0.55" smaller square hole on bracket

This procuct is easy to work with.

I really love the throttle and kickdown bracket. So easy to install and easy to make adjustments for the correct kickdown, or passing gear. I once made my own bracket and could never get the kickdown part adjusted right. The trans would go right to high gear when the throttle was all the way down. I will replace that one with your bracket. The one I ordered was form my custom 56 Buick the other was for my customized 91 S10.

Got this to hook up my linkages to a aftermarket intake and carb in my truck, it does what I need it to do but is on the flimsy side for my liking, I may look around for something alittle more robust but will work for now.

swapped from Holly Carb to Holly sniper and need a bracket for throttle and kickdown cable, carb bracket I had worked good with carb. this 1 is not the 1. on shelf for future builds.

Bear in mind you would be quite lucky to get anything universal like this and have it just connect and work out of the package. My '47 Ford Tudor with 289, C4, 2-BBL needed a custom-fabricated bracket at manifold to house the kickdown and throttle cables in the correct position and angle to work together properly. Ended up using only a small piece of this.
