Velocity stack and carb screen
The velocity stack and the carb screen are good products. They just don't work together very well. Without the right carb the screen will not work. The velocity stack fit on my carb but the screen would not work. So I had to fabricate a spacer to make them work together on my carb. Simple aluminum spacer inside the velocity stack did the job. But still frustrating just the same.

Bug Dome Carb screens
I have a 4 duece set up on my HotRod which has 4 ford 94 carbs. This product was advertised and even the photos show that the bug screen would fit inside the carb intake opening and I could still use the "97 Scoops" that I have. This was not the case. These screens are way too small for the opening and would NOT fit the carb as advertised. Since the the other carbs that it is discribed as being a "fit" for are pretty much the same size intake opening, I doubt they even fit these other carbs either. I was very disapointed as I needed to get new screens and felt that these would do the job perfectly . I was wrong.

I saw these on another set of Stromberg 97's and they were impressive in look and function. If you are running those timeless cast aluminum scoops on your carbs like I am on my Flathead these are a great addition to look and function. I was using copper screens I made to keep the condors out of my carbs. These domed screens have such a more professional look and they to keep the condors out.

I've bought 7 of these for 3 Ford/Holley 94's and 4 for the Speedway 97's. It takes a little coaxing and slight bending to get them into the 94's air horn. Perfect fit on the 97's.
