Make Quick Change Rear Gear Swaps Faster and With Less Mess

A quick change style rear end makes adapting to varying track conditions, track lengths easier. Simply swap out your quick change gear set, bolt the cover back on, top off your gear oil, and you’re ready to rock and roll. The one challenge, however, has been using a traditional drip pan for oil change with your quick change gear swaps. The quick change gear oil is hot and slippery, the gears themselves are hot and slippery, and no one wants to “bobbing for gears” in the catch pan under a car. We know, we’ve been there. Using an oil catch pan designed specifically for quick change gear swaps is the best solution, but those aluminum and metal oil drain pans on the market are often difficult to position/handle and become too hot to touch as the hot gear oil temperature transfers quickly to the aluminum pan. Our solution? A rotomolded plastic catch pan for your quick change gear swaps.

Using high-density polyethylene plastic, our catch pan is strong and light. The rotomolding process ensures that the catch can’s 3/16-inch material thickness is uniform throughout, with no thin spots that could lead to leaks or punctures. The perforated angled drip tray provides an easy to use spot to place your hot quick change gears without losing them in the lower portion of the catch pan’s abyss of hot quick change gear oil. Molded carry handles (one on each side, versus many aluminum pans that only have one) provide a stable way to carry your waste oil to a storage container. We’ve even molded in a corner drain support that allows you to drain the catch pan quickly and easily without making a mess.
