Speedway Stilleto Small Rack & Pinion Standard Steering Box

The Stiletto Small Box is a durable lightweight rack and pinion that is ideal for Mini Sprints, Dragsters or Go-carts type applications. It is compact, efficient and very durable.

The housing is precision machined ultra tough 2024-t4 Billet aluminum. The aircraft grade pinion is mounted on precision ball bearings and the heat treated alloy rack glides on precision honed bronze bushings. A dual lip pinion seal and heavy duty Nylon reinforced Neoprene boots that are secured with double wrapped stainless steel wire to keep moisture and foreign debris out of the assembly. Precision manufacturing and meticulous assembly process of this rack n pinion result in the very smooth “Swiss Watch“ movement that is a Stiletto Steering System standard.

Outfitted with Aurora VCM 3/8” rod ends on 11-¼” centers. The housing measures only 2-3/4 “ tall by 2” deep.

For front steer applications (steering arm relative to steering axis), mount in the position as shown. This unit may also be mounted inverted for rear steer applications.
