Ratings & Reviews

Customers commend the product for its durability and efficiency, and valuable for mechanical endeavors like fuel line set-ups. While it is tougher and more rigid than its competitors, this attribute has been viewed as a quality. The product has superior resistance to fraying, provided value for money, and maintain its functionality excellently. The hose's quality may falter in certain applications over time, making it critical to use specialized tools and fixtures in installations. However, customers opted for other brands when the lining shrank and the product became stiff, but overall reviews suggest it's a reliable option for automotive needs.

Steel braided fuel hose
I use this product to replace an extended fuel hose on a stock style race car. I did find that this braided hose was somewhat more rigid than others, but I did not find this as a drawback. I also found that this hose does not fray out as much as others I have used in the past. Best approach is to use a zip tie to hold the steel braid, then cut near the zip tie, then you can remove the zip tie, and generally put the AN fittings on without too much trouble. All in all good value I would buy again.

Confusing
I have used Aeroquip hoses and fittings for years , I bought the speedway fittings this time because they looked really good , lots of shine. However I was totally frustrated trying to thread the fittings onto the Speedway brand hose, I tried several different ways to do it, remember I DO have experience with this type of stuff. Nothing worked! The Stainless just frayed like crazy , I ended up using it for vacuum hose to the brake booster and threw the nice shinny fittings in the back of the drawer.

Compared to a competitor's brand of steel braided line I have used, the Speedway product was tougher to complete AN lines.
