Overall Assessment

Customers have highly praised the product for its stability, durability, and usability. The engine cradle is noted to fit perfectly, allowing simple and efficient assembly, even with higher quality bolts. The compact size facilitates space-saving, notably with safely stacking and storing engines. Its quality allows heavy-duty usage and is preferred over competitors since it uniquely meets their requirements. Modifications such as adding wheels or casters transform it into a more user-friendly product, permitting engine mobility. Although some customers suggested design improvements, they still laud it as a solid stand with excellent value for money indicating a potential for repeat purchases.

Great little well made stand for 327 and

I bought this stand for my '56 265 re-build, realizing that it lacked the proper uprights to fit the front motor mounts. In a morning I made two one inch square tubing uprights for the front of the engine with tabs to bolt to the front of the frame. It would be nice for the existing front 327 mounts to have three holes rather than one. For the price it is a nicely built usable mount. I bolted mine to a dolly so it could be rolled around. These motors weigh 575 lb. sl they need a sturdy stand.

Marginal engine stand

The item I received did not exactly match the picture on the web site. Mine had two rear legs that required bolts be tightened similar to the two front legs. The stand flexed more than I would have expected, and I am concerned that it is flimsy. It seems fine to hold an engine if everything is static, but I wouldn't trust it if I were installing or removing parts from the engine while on this item.

Do you think, or do you know anyone that has added 4 caster wheels to this stand. Seams a bit of trouble to hook engine hoist each time you would want/need to move the engine out of the way
