Return PolicyAdd that final touch to your hot rod with Speedway Motors' Aluminum Aero Shield! This ornamental cover is mainly intended to cover the rear pivot point on hairpin or split wishbone radius rods on traditional straight axle hot rod front suspensions, but can be used anywhere you please. The Aluminum Aero Shield mounts easily via screws, bolts, or rivets (mounting hardware not included).
Crafted from .063 aluminum and fully polished, our Aluminum Aero Shield is the perfect touch of "bling" to set off your hot rod. Of course if you prefer, you can paint, powder coat, or even anodize the shield, as the aluminum material can accept any of these surface coatings to match your vehicle's theme or paint job. Use the Aero Shield in the engine bay, trunk, or even your interior. Once you start looking for places to mount it you'll be amazed at all the spots you'll find where it looks like it was made to go there!

My project is a sprint size crosscar with a v twin motorcycle engine and transmision mounted in rear. I used the aluminum Aero shield hairpin cover to direct airflow to the engine to assist radiator with cooling the engine.
