Speedway Motors is proud to introduce our exclusive 3-piece 1979-Up GM Metric midsize spindle. Our advanced engineering techniques allowed for the recreation of an OEM spec spindle in a newly forged, heat-treated steel design that is stronger than the original. The unique three-piece construction provides for fast, convenient and affordable replacement of individual components in the event of a crash. These spindles are IMCA/USMTS/USRA/UMP/Wissota approved for use in competition.
Includes spindle body only. Works as replacement for both right or left hand spindles. Steering arm and caliper bracket sold separately.

Had to ream the upper hole to allow use of the Chrysler k6117 balljoints i use with the adjustable upper arms, but it works nice.

I'll be using these on an off application. Can the shorter Pinto version steering arm be bolted onto the metric spindle? Are the tie rod end tapers on each arm different? Thanks!

This fabricated spindle, minus the brake bracket and the steering arm, looks very much like the earlier series spindle on virtually every chevy car. Does this spindle have the same specifications as the OEM spindle for a 68 Camero? I believe it would be slightly taller but is everything else the same ie bearing diameters, spindle length, bolt hole spacing for steering arm, holes for caliper bracket, offset?
