Overall Assessment

Customers highly praise our product for its high quality, easy installation, and perfect fit. The product's features are highly appreciated; the rubber base and brass threads demonstrate its quality, while the old-school yet modern look enhances different cars' aesthetics. Customers mention the brightness, positioning, and wiring as excellent. They have successfully used the product in a range of cars like Ford, Chevy, and even custom Harley builds, making it versatile. Used in various applications like taillights & 3rd brake lights, only a few had issues with mounting and lens darkness. Despite being a minor suggestion, they found it a top-quality product that is super bright and stylish, giving a superior custom look compared to competitors.

Very nice

This light looks and works great. The only thing that would make it better would be a translucent lense as opposed to transparent. That way you see the light from the LEDs but not the individual LEDs and associated wiring and circuitry. Just a very minor suggestion, overall a nice light.

I bought this light to use as a third brake light on my 59 Chevy Apache truck. It looks like it is going to work so well that I am going to buy another to have on hand should anything happen to the first one.

Odd Behavior is Still Odd. Follow-Up to Recent Question As a test, I ran a ground wire to a known good ground, the battery's ground, and tested again. The problem was the same. The switch is good. (I did not have a voltmeter to test the running light side.) The running light on the opposite side flashes with the turn signal on one side. There are no conventional bulbs except in the third brake light. Can you point me to the resistor or leveler that I would buy to solve the problem? [I may be one of those idiots that didn't give full information the first time, so here goes. This is an installation on a shell on a pickup truck. The bulb third brake light that came with the shell uses a logic module instead of a single line to the truck. I have added an unrelated brand LED clearance light bar above the third brake light as well as the cateye turn/stop-tail lights. The LED clearance light bar also flashes with the turn signals, regardless of which side is flashing. The shell is wired in to the truck's factory-installed trailer circuit. A trailer with only LED lights has the same problem.] Many thanks Love the Cateye light, by the way.

Odd behavior as stop and turn signal When I hook these up as the stop, turn and tail lights, and I (say) turn on the left turn signal, the right side tail light flashes faintly but noticeably in tandem with the left turn signal. There are no regular bulbs in either circuit. Will the LED load equalizer cure this? Alternately, will installing a resistor in one of the lines (which one?) or a turn-stop-tail bulb assembly in parallel cure the odd problem?

D.O.T approved? Do these units have a D.O.T marking so the vehicle will pass state inspection (PA requires all lenses to include DOT certification). Thanks

When using this product as a third brake light and connect the red & yellow wires, do I need to use the LED load equalizer #91003030 ? I will be using regular bulbs in the brake and turn signals.
