Exactly what I needed
I bought a four core aluminum race radiator to go with my Pont.400bb which I installed about a year an a half ago into my 85 GMC SB PICK-UP. At first every thing was fine,but this summer(2018) I kept smelling coolant & noticed the temp was higher than normal.Upon investigating I found coolant residue around the cap & side of rad.looking at the cap supplied(13/21lbs)& research found that the eng & rad. Combo was making to much pressure for this cap.So I purchased SPEEDWAY MOTORS (29/31lbs)high pressure cap & problem solved. "THANKS " SPEEDWAY MOTORS

Poor Quality Caps
The caps I bought were way out of spec... Most (not all) vehicle radiators have a .75" throat from the top of the fill neck to the surface which the cap must seal against. The caps I received did not meet this important criteria, they were short, thus water leaving the radiator leading to overheating. When I questioned the Speedway Tech he said "Try a Stant that will probably fix your problem." No offer to refund the price of the useless Speedway Brand caps just a suggestion to buy a better product. This is POOR!!! Why sell a product if you won't stand behind it???
