Easy to install

This is my first time to use this style of fastener. You'll want a pop rivet gun for fastening these to the panel. I ended up making a second set of brackets as I needed to blow the first set in figuring out how to obtain a perfect alignment. Now I can see why these are used on so many cars.

Too flat

The flat springs are too flat. I used the short dzus fastners and what I was fastening never became snug. I had to open all the springs up so things would be tight.

I haven't used any yet as the assembly process is about to start on the car body and interior. The 1/4 turn fastners will make the panels easily removeable for build, maint. and show on a 1939 Nash streetrod. They will be used to hold the top panel of the hood,the grill (2 changeable) panels over the gas tank and battery in the trunk as well as the tiltable dash
