I bought this Aluminum Oil Filter cover for my "Modified"318 Mopar,,The Problem I had was this is a HEAVY DUTY product, Very well made! It wouldn't fit between the block & bell housing.So,, Earlier I installed a remote oil filter for my Automatic Transmission,which I tied into the transmission cooling line after the external transmission cooler (return line) Not only does it look great,,,But it acts like a " Heat Sink"! I'm so pleased with this product I'm buying more for all my vehicles. Heavy Duty and Very Well Made! MOTORHEAD~TY

Lovely looks, fit not so much.
It's a very sharp looking piece; heavy construction and nice deep fins. However it doesn't fit my Small Block Ford oil filter very well, it's much too loose. Even after tightening it down as far as I dare, it still had a good 1/16" of play and would fall right off. I had to wrap the filter with some foam tape so it to add some thickness, and even then I decided to run a piece of safety wire from the bolt to one of my oil pan bolts so it doesn't come flying off while tooling down the highway.
