What a GREAT oil filter cutter!!!
I fly an RV-6A custom-built aircraft, and on the advice of people on my airplane forum, I bought this oil filter cutter; I'm so VERY glad I did! It's works amazing well and cut the filter easily and cleanly! I had to drill a hole in the cutter as my filters have a threaded neck but not a problem I would suggest you consider making the hole standard and marketing them on Aviation Websites! Thanks again for a GREAT cutter!!!

Not the best but gets the job done
It gets the job done cutting the thicker case OTR filters we use on our car but the design is lacking. The better design is ones where a single roller pin goes into the main port on the filter, but this one gets the job done

For engine oil filters it works great. I tried it on a hydraulic oil filter. Not so much. But no fault of the tool. Hydraulic oil filters are crimped differently. With a deaper head.
