Overall Assessment

Users appreciate that the Speedway Door Wiring Loom Conduit Kit fits their requirements well and stands out for its high-quality materials and craftsmanship. Despite requiring a large hole for installation and having a somewhat noisy operation, the kit is widely acclaimed for its easy installation. The product is particularly useful for running wiring for power windows and shaved door handle kits. However, the kit is not suitable for vehicles with suicide doors. A few users also found it hard to run multiple cables due to the size constraints of the conduit. On a positive note, excellent customer satisfaction is reflected in their willingness to repurchase without second thoughts. In comparison to competitors, users said the kit works better and they would choose it for future projects. Despite some complaints about fit issues for specific applications, there is overall satisfaction with the product's quality, usability, and installation procedure.

A problem with this wiring loom. Remove the inner set screw

I bought both power door locks and power windows from Speedway. I had to run 7-14 gauge wires for the left door and 6 for the right which includes a ground wire. I had great difficulty running this many wires (one at a time)..they would go part way and jam up. I discovered that the set screw that holds the wire shield tubing into the bushing had partially crushed the inside diameter plastic lining. (assembly from the mfg). I finally removed the set screw, assembled the loom with wires through the door frames as designed, and then finally replaced the set screw into the bushing to hold it in place. Since the wires do not move inside the tube, I'm trusting the crush on the wires inside the plastic lining will not damage the insulation on the individual wires. I'm thinking it won't. There must be free movement inside the kick panel for the tube end with wires exiting the end, to move forward and backward as the door opens and closes. Some sort of adhesive holding the bushing to the shielded tube would be a better solution at the factory. With fewer wires it may not be a problem.

Used these on my 32 street rod. Worked well only had two wires to run between door and jam but wouldn't see an issue with up to 4 maybe more.

The Speedway Door Wiring Loom Conduit Kit looks and operates great. It was somewhat difficult to get at the set screws inside the doors, but works great once I got them tightened. In my narrow doors a large jamb nut might have been easier to get to. I would definitely buy them again.
