These Leaf Spring Sliders make a neat finished product

These leaf spring sliders are built very well. I think they will last for some time and don't for see any problems in the future really . I will say do your home work to make sure you have a understanding of what the finished product should be. What I mean is the location front to rear . I welded mine in , so it had to be in the right place the first time. I installed them in a Street Truck ( 1952 Chevy ) with Camaro leaf springs . They work great and have not had any problems at all. They also help set the rear lower than shackles would have. I would have give them 5 Stars if they only came with some paper work to help understand where to mount. I guess That's my lack of knowledge on my part, but it would have been nice. I would buy them again and also would recommend then to others. Very nice product !!

Bushings too big

Bought these for my S10 since the spring eye is the same as a Camaro at 1.5 ID. The aluminum bushings provided measured 1.62 OD I know they are a press fit but not 120 thou. That is almost an 1/8" I took them to a local machine shop and had them turned down to 1.51. They then pressed in perfectly but cost another 30 bucks plus the agravation. They are well made otherwise but in hindsight, I think I would just go with poly bushings in the stock shakles.

I'm using these on my 70 Nova. I am using leaf springs and a narrowed rear frame rail setup. These can easily be bolted if you add a plate to your frame. I have been told on Facebook forums that these are not a bolt on type slider , but yes , they can be. 99% of the people saying no , are self serving and just trying to sell their product at a much higher price and not a better product.

The sliders replaced an older version of the same product. The new sliders are an improvement of the old technology.

I am using these sliders along with Assassin transaction bars. There is absolutely no binding. They work great and I have very consistent 60 foot times on a stock style suspension. Will definitely use again on other builds.
