Use this handy 40 amp relay to wire up your 12 volt horn, electric fuel pump, electric fan with sensor, shaved door handles, or whatever! Contains relay, plug, wire, and instructions.
The wiring would be as follows (included in kit instructions):
- Red Wire #30 Prong = main 12V power source
- Black Wire #85 Prong = Electric fan sensor OR low (oil) pressure switch OR grounding switch
- Blue Wire #86 Prong = 12V toggle switch OR ignition switch "ACC" terminal
- Yellow Wire #87 Prong = to fan or fuel pump + lead
- White Wire or Center Prong = not normally used

Best for what they are used for.
I am an starting drag car builder( 1/8-1/4 strip) I use these relays for the fan, water pump, fuel pump and any other application where I need to tame the 12 volt input. They are used in conjunction with a six gang switch box with starter button. This was my second order from Speedway for this item. If I build a third car I will order another five or so 40 amp relays.

did not understand how to install
I purchased this relay to run the second fan of a dual fan setup along with the spal thermal relay switch and wiring harness kit. the spal kit is a 4 wire system and this budget relay has more wires than the spal thermal switch and harness kit. I ended up purchaseing a second thermal relay switch and harness kit that worked for me.
