This adapter allows installation of aftermarket air cleaners with a 5-1/8" opening on original equipment 4-Barrel carburetors with 4-7/32" carb necks. Works great on low hood clearance applications as it only raises the air cleaner 1/2" off the carburetor. Made from heavy-duty sand-cast aluminum, guaranteed not to droop or crack like flimsy plastic adapters.

Non reversable
Works if your going 4GC style carb to newer edelbrock air cleaner. However, it's non flippable if you want to go the other way. Edelbrock carb to old air cleaner use Speedways #910110691

The casting is really rough and would not fit right away. Had to use a file quite a bit and then a rubber mallet to make it fit.

The air breather adapter I had was hard plastic and it cracked and deteriorated. This one is alloy so I shouldn't have to worry about that problem with it.
