Nice looking part, went in easily. O-ring between water pump and crossover tube (specifically stated in instructions to not use any sealant) leaked immediately. After some reading online, found the leak not a not uncommon issue. Took the crossover tube off, found the included new O-ring to be quite a bit shorter/thinner than the one on the car. Doubled the new O-ring with the old one and put a little RTV on each as suggested online. Went back together without too much trouble. My next step, as others recommended, would have been to get/make a washer fit over the crossover tube nipple to better compress the O-ring stack. Overall, as the 429 water pump gets harder to find, this is a good part, just do your homework on the O-ring.
