Satisfactory proportioning valve.
This proportioning valve was included with a master cylinder kit to convert from drum to disc brakes. It works fine. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because I tried two of them and they both leaked from a preinstalled fitting. I was able to stop the leak by filing the surface smooth and using a more malleable copper sealing washer.

Mixed thoughts on recommendation
The mounting bracket was on the opposite side of the valve as pictured in the catalog. I removed the bracket and was able to mount on the side as pictured. Mounted and plumbed the valve. Leaked from the fitting on the top of the valve. Tightened nut, still leaked. Removed copper washer and sanded on flat surface . Reinstalled , still leaked. Removed and replaced copper washer with washer off of original prop. valve. Appears that the washer was hard and would not seal. Valve working as envisioned. Hesitate to recommend.

This is my second one. The first one went bad in 2 years by leaking. I found the master cylinder caused the issue so I can't blame this part.

The valve came with an extra port that needed to be capped. Why not put the cap in place and make sure it is sealed. It depends on a copper washer to seal piece provided . The washer too thin and not crushable enough to fill the imperfections on the valve. Other wise it seems to perform as expected with disc front and drum rear.

I have the proportion valve that fits a 60-70 model Ford. I need the Pv tool to bleed brakes. I ordered one from y'all but it is too big to fit. I think it was for a different maje or model.

It comes with a mounting bracket, but no instructions on how to attach the bracket. It has the original style proportioning valve and bracket, but an original has the bracket press fit and the proportioning valve body is somehow deformed around it locking it down... How does this proportioning valve get secured to the bracket?
