Anytime you remove a leaf spring U-bolt, you should replace it. Once they have been tightened and stretch, they have lost their strength. These U-bolts are designed to be used with stock 2" wide Chevy/GMC half-ton multi-leaf springs.
Save money and buy this set of four. Includes flat washers and nylock nuts.

Used these to replace stock u bolts on 1957 Chevy 3100. Worked fine but uses lock nuts and flat washers vs stock lock washer with nuts. Wondering if the lock nuts are single use. May clean up the stock nuts and washers for spares.

These u-bolts are about an inch shorter than the original Chevy u-bolts. They will barely accommodate the stock leaf spring pack, forget about adding lift blocks unless you take a couple leafs out, there isn't enough thread length.
