Anytime you remove a leaf spring U-bolt, you should replace it. Once they have been tightened and stretch, they have lost their strength. These U-bolts are designed to be used with stock front Ford half-ton multi-leaf springs.
Bolts have 9/16" rolled threads and include flat washers and nylock nuts.

These U bolts did the trick. Very good quality with a hardness level of 8. No cheap knock offs here. I've ordered seat belts that were the exact fit with excellent descriptions. I also ordered a gas gauge sending unit that was the right ohms for the gauge and constructed of stainless steel. The next item I'm looking to order is a disc brake conversion for my '48 Ford F1. The quality is there and I have no uncertainty that the parts will fit. Speedway is my go to for my '48 ford.! KJ.

They fit well, that's for sure. I could have used 2" less overall length, that's my only real gripe. Thread quality is right on the ragged edge, particularly at the tips. McMaster has the longer 9/16-20 u-bolt nuts; otherwise those a pain to source.
