this beast is a thing of beauty. i have no doubts about the strength of this frame. the welds look like a robot did them. because i am building a driver and not a show car i didn't try to grind it smooth, the factory used about 24 grit grinding wheel to finish. i used a couple of 80 grit flap discs to dress things some and knock the edges down, blasted it with primer and painted it. The only complaints i have is i wanted to install a brake and clutch pedal (just in case) but the brake pedal bracket is welded too nicely to the frame rail to risk cutting it off, and the rear shock brackets are not as pictured. be sure to have a good charge on your cordless screwdriver to un-crate it.

I own this Speedway Model A frame and wouldn't hesitate for a moment to recommend this quality piece of craftsmanship to anyone. I was surprisingly pleased by the frame when received. I guess I was expecting much, much less for the price and it not being from a specialty custom chassis builder. The attention to detail is bar none. The measurements, mounts, built in threads etc... Are ALL spot-on. The frame itself is ABSOLUTELY square, true, straight and level. Every single weld is seamlessly perfect! I had researched and priced several frames before this purchase and because of budget reasons I opted for the Speedway frame and figured I could and would repair, alter and or remedy any flaws and be happy considering the immensely lower price then other custom comparison frames. MUCH to my surprise upon arrival and inspection this frame is well above and beyond anything I could have expected for triple what I paid. As a matter of fact, I have bought a similar chassis from a custom builder 5 years ago for a considerable amount more $$$$ and embarrassingly that frame for triple this cost wasn't nearly 1/2 the quality as the Speedway frame! Next few paychecks I will be ordering my suspension items and will be doing so without hesitation. I have no doubts in quality of anything I receive. Thank you Speedway for a great skeleton to my newest project, and thank you for providing a quick easy way to shop for my hobby!!!! Joe
