This mirror is for a 28-29 Model A not the same as 30-31
On the 28-29 Model A mirror the post to the mirror is in the center of the hinge. On the 30-31 Model A mirror the post to the mirror is on the top of the hinge. So this mirror will work if only one mirror is used or get two of these mirrors. The Vintique label on the end of the box reads 1928/29 hinge pin mirror A-17741-A. The Speedway label that has been applied over the original label on the front of the box reads 28/31 mirror 911-23005. The Vintique part number for the 30-31 is A-17741-B.

bolt was hard to get into bottom hole and pushed to hard and bottom piece broke off.

The speedway hinge mounted mirrors solved a problem of where do I mount mirrors on a chopped model A. I did have to drill the holes just slightly bigger so the supplied pins would fit. I used a letter drill bit and got a perfect fit.

I Love these mirrors. Very sleek looking. Chrome is like a mirror finish themselves. Love the design how they go right on the door hinge with the supplied hardware.
