The product, a radiator temperature gauge and cap, received mixed reviews from customers. Appreciated for its dual functionality and accurate readings, it was considered a valuable tool by several users for monitoring engine temperature and coolant levels. However, some customers reported issues with leakage around the thermometer and plastic top cover, raising questions about its build quality. Despite discontents with material, users still appreciate the idea citing it as a great concept but feel the practical implementation lacks. Despite this, many users still recommend the product and find it helpful in their engine management. Its safety value is also highlighted due to its pressure release upon reaching critical levels. Overall, the product's quality and performance seem to vary among users, but its concept and practical utility are generally endorsed.

Looks good, not well made
I've seen better quality products like this, for the money it is worth it. Upper gasket is loose in support housing if you don't watch it installing it gasket will slip to the side and won't work with recovery system.

An outstanding concept! But disappointin
I thoroughly love the concept, and have run a 16-lb. thermo-cap (Speedway Brand) on my 1971 Buick Riviera for problem-free years now. But attempting to fit my Ford pickup radiator I've attempted two products for the same function (Speedway Brand & Mr. Gasket). Both, I'm sad to say, leaked under pressure. I wouldn't wish to attempt a third cap. I simply went back to my old cap.

I think this is a great concept, but in order for it to be accurate the thermocouple probe needs to be about an inch and a half long, so it is submerged in the radiator water.

Looks really good. Seems very durable and high quality. However, it reads the ambient temperature of the coolant at the top of the radiator. Does not represent actual engine operating temperature. Looks great at car shows though which is where I found out about it.

I have been using a smaller one for years and now that I have tried this one I'll never go back to the smaller size. These are awesome you can see the temp and never have to worry about getting burnt from accidentally opening a hot cap again! Awesome to have Thanks again Speedway!! The greatest place to shop!

I really like this radator cap, it shows the temp, adds some interest under the hood. I priced out Mr. Gasket cap, this one looks better and is cheeper!
