Great U-joint for chevy driveshaft to ford rear-end
This product was my answer to my street car project. I have a 91 camaro iroc z28 with a 91 camaro RS steel drive shaft with a 700R4 trans. I needed either a new drive shaft or a u-joint that could pair with my drive shaft and my Currie Ford 9" rear end. The S44 cap of the Ujoint was my answer to fit the chevy drive shaft. I previously ordered a 1310/1330 Ujoint and the 1330(chevy)cap did not work. I was very happy with this product. My only problem with it was minor and that it comes with minimal grease within the caps.

Too wide
Had a lot of trouble pressing these into my driveshaft and getting the spring clips in place. After awhile I measured across the caps and they are about .03 inches too wide on both sides compared to my old ones. I was finally able to get them to work after loosing the needles on the "Ford" caps several times. This was due to a very strangely designed seal on those caps that does not hold in place. Also the grease fitting boss is very big and limits the maximum angle they can operate at.

The yoke on my 8" rear axle uses a 1.125"dia., not 1.062" dia. caps. Everything else on this u-joint is what I need except the 1.062. dia. caps. What if I would buy 2 u-joints and swap out the (2) 1.062" caps with 9@0 1.125" caps. I would end up with (4) 1.125" dia. caps. Your thoughts on this?
