This universal, dual wiper drive kit has two wiper shafts that are driven by a remote mounted, commercial duty, 2-speed wiper motor. The sweep is adjustable from 90°-160° in 10° increments. Wiper shafts accept arms (not included) that fit 1/2" fine spline knurls or arms that fit 1/4" shafts.
This complete drive kit with 144" long drive cable and 2-speed intermittent (knob) switch.

The remote wiper system offers great flexibility in locating the power unit and wiper transmissions. It requires professional level skills to install, it is not a plug and play item. I installed the system in a 35 Ford Cabriolet and mounted the power unit under the passenger side toe board, welding custom brackets to the floor pan. As the wiper transmissions would have extended down into the view area, I used the supplied sleeves and welded in the new mount higher than the original which went through the windshield frame. The greased cable would be a real challenge to install in a vehicle that has a finished interior - it is a bear to wrestle with. Now to build a furred-out header panel to hide burry the transmissions and cable tube. Again...not a project for the faint of heart.

This is the second time I have installed this product.41 Ford install went well.On my 40 Merc the wiper transmissions had to be installed about an inch farther away from windshield than stock,which changes the angle of the sweep.Instructions hurry through the timing phase,they get hard to follow.Also should be noted if the motor is not mounted on the right hand side it changes the park position of the wipers,not noted in instructions.I would go a different route next time.

Tried an off brand wiper set up and it was very noisy. The SPW set up is quiet and very well made. It comes with very detailed, easy to follow installation instructions. I highly recommend them as an alternative to old factory wipers.

I was tasked with adding a modern wiper system on an already restored `34 Pontiac. I really appreciated the design with its` remote motor because the wipers were to be installed overhead and with limited space. As this was my first experience with this system, I personally would have appreciated more practical examples on the DVD covering tubing bending/routing.
