I have installed these window kits for years in customer's cars. This one went into a 1936 Ford coupe. These kits are high quality-- which is rare these days-- and are well engineered to adapt to many applications. The swivel ball idea is great which allows for minor misalignment that occur in older cars and trucks when the glass travels up and down in the OEM tracks. Not the cheapest but there's good reason for that. This kit is the best.

I have been tempted to go with cheaper sets, but these are some of the quickest to install with easy adjustments. Directions and video are very complete. Customer service is very helpful. I can put in a system in about two hours. I have three sets of their wipers too. Installs: 41 Chev, 48 Ford F1, 47 Chev 3100, 31 Ford Sedan, 78 C-30, 65 C-10.

Although kit comes with material for attaching glass to channel, instructions don't tell you how to install it ( which side goes to the glass ), nor tips on how to install it in general. Kit should be sold with and without the door jam conduit.

My 1940 Chrysler Royal 2 dr has the wind wing divider stainless strip attached to the main window rather than the wing. It is screwed to the lower glass channel as well as secured with glass tape. Since they likely can't be screwed to the bottoms in the kit, do you think the glass tape only would suffice to secure this strip?

Will this kit work in a '62 Ford 24 passenger School Bus and is this a screw driven lift or cable? I want to remove the original two piece window setup and install one piece window glass, new guides and electric lift assembly on each of the four windows. My 2005 Ford truck has cable lift assemblies and have had a number of problems, which is why I would prefer screw-drive lift assemblies. The control switches will be at the windows, however I would like to have a second set control switches at the drivers seat as well. Can additional switches be connected to the unit 6-10 feet away and still operate correctly?
