GREAT MOUNT POSITION FOR WHAT I NEED
I'm building a 76 Vega Wagon for my son. The Wagon came without a motor but had P/S, P/B and A/C. He just wants a stock 350 with quiet mufflers and everything working. For that I needed to mount the alternator on top of the manifold. This bracket should just do the trick. The left side head holds the power steering pump and the right side head holds the A/C mounting brackets. The alternator on top of the intake is the only place it can go and like I said, This bracket should do the job. I've seen V8 Vegas with the alternator hanging out way over to the left side and I don't like it. I think my son will be very happy with a Wagon that has all power and A/C. Thanks for the bracket.

Looks good and placement is nice, but...
If your alternator is the only belt running the water pump, this is not the bracket for you. The belt only covers about an inch on the of the water pump pulley and squeals badly. I'll have to run a separate belt from the crank to the water pump. I purchased this because I add power steering to my 70 C10 and the alternator belt was hitting the the new power steering pump, so I decided to move the alternator to the passenger side.
