excellent universal bracket for short or
i've installed this on my sbc with a long water pump and used an 87 metric saginaw power steering pump with a pressed on pulley and it works excellent.i had to drill the bottom hole where the pump mounts to the bracket because its metric and the bolts just a little bigger. this bracket will mount all saginaw power steering pumps from early 60's thur 87 long or short water pump to sbc

Product not made to proper dimensions
Product will not work with stock gm style pump unless modified. I received mine and the dimensions were off. The holes are super close to where they should be but they do not align exactly. Most likely it was just one flawed piece among the entire batch. It is worth trying since the price is great.

I hated the look, clutter, all the necessary bolts, nuts, washers & headaches trying to guess where everything goes. This cleans up the motor bay much better.

What alternator bracket would you recommend with this unit. I really like this bracket, looks neat and simple. All I will be running on my engine is power steering and alternator, with short water pump. Any recommendations on alt. bracket and pulleys would be greatly appreciated.
