Therefore, we work hard to manufacture parts for your racing program that last and keep money in your pocket. Our WISSOTA approved steel bellhousing is exactly what we are talking about.

Built to Take the Abuse

We know that racing puts huge demands on your race car’s drivetrain. To that end we started with a laser-cut, CNC-finished engine block flange for a perfect fit to your small block Chevy or Ford engine. Using precise fixture welding the 7-gauge steel bell, along with the transmission mount flange (also laser-cut CNC-finished) are welded together to make a strong, long lasting part. This bellhousing is designed for hydraulic throwout bearing use only, such as our PN 91025602. At the bottom is a 6.3-inch opening to allow quick clutch and throwout bearing inspections. The bellhousing is protected from the elements with a black zinc plated coating.

Fitment for Stock and Race Transmissions

We designed this new bellhousing to fit all Gen 1 small block Chevy engines and small block Ford engines (302/351 Windsor and 351 Cleveland). You must use a 153-tooth (GM) or 157-tooth (Ford) flywheel with this application. You can mount a traditional GM Muncie/Saginaw 4-speed, or aftermarket boxes such as Bert, Brinn, and Falcon 2-speeds. So, if you are starting with a used four-speed and wish to upgrade to an aftermarket race-spec transmission this bellhousing can accommodate your updated trans of choice. This bellhousing is not SFI rated but it is WISSOTA approved for its Midwest Modifieds class.
