A cool way to keep the rearend in place
Have built many rods with this part quality is consistently good. If it does not fit tight, the only need is to compress it around the axle for a tight fit weld then compress the hairpins.

Very nice part, but my axles came from a 94 F150 and were slightly larger than 3 inches, so had to grind the inside radius out some to fit; about 1/4 inch.

What is the overall height of the bracket? Can the holes be drilled out to 1/2" to use a larger bolt?

Is this sold as a single part (bolt in single shear) or in pairs (double shear) Or another way to ask, would I need to order quantity 4 to have the bolts all in double shear? 2 per side.
