Overall Assessment

Customers consistently commend the shock mount for its excellent quality and fit. Its robustness and functionality are praised. Notably, its ability to easily mount shocks and its clearance capacity is appreciated, as it accommodates various project requirements. The part's sturdiness is highlighted, especially its thickness, which surpasses standard shackle plates, guaranteeing durability. The mount's highly polished finish lends an appealing aesthetic. Some reviewers suggested that the hole's diameter be varied to accommodate different shock bushings, contributing to its versatility. Overall, the product is recognized as a practical, high-quality solution for shock installation.

shock link

When added to the spring, it did not allow enough clearance to attach the shock in my application so I had to weld an extension on to the link. Chome was good.

These fix one problem, getting the end of the second spring leaf to stop hitting the bottom of the shock. Unfortunately, they created a few little issues. First is that the hole for the shock bolt is 3/8", but the shock bolt is 1/2". Second is that the shock bolt hole is a little too close to the shackle bolt, causing the the bottom of the shock to hit the upper shackle holder. Both are probably fixable. The chrome really looks good.

When mounting the shock should it be. bolted behind this plate or in front of? Didnt know of it makes a difference. I can see mounting the shock hole on the axle side as opposed to the spring side as the shocks wont be effective.

Is this best used with the hole on the top (shock above and closest to axle pivot) or with the hole on the bottom (shock below and closest to leaf spring pivot)? In my case, the only feasible fit in is the lower position. But this may not be the best for
