Seals-It EAS15100 Details

One size fits all! Fits any inner axle tube with an I.D. between 2-1/2" and 2-3/4". This eliminates ordering the wrong seal and allows you to always have the correct seal on hand. Typical applications* include Ford 9”, Quick change type rears, and 12 bolt GM. All seals are supplied with general installation guidelines.
  • Inner Axle Seal I.D. = 7/8"
  • Axle sizes/Splines:  1-3/16” thru 1-1/2” / 28-31

 

* Applications are reference only. Seals may be used on any rear end that is within the part number’s dimensional range. Rears can vary within a single model year and within the same model. Measure listed parameters before ordering.

Perfect for an H072/60 hybrid front build!

As the title says, I bought these for a hybrid h072/ Dana 60 front axle build. These are just the right inner diameter for the H072 axle shafts, perhaps a tad tight. Outer diameter fits the H072 tubes perfectly if you grind the weld seam down. Not sure on how long these will live, but seeing as they're for a front axle with hub lockouts on a truck that's frankly a toy, I bet they last forever and a year.

these are ok

I got this seal because it is universal and cheaper, but it was a mess to install because you have to use a bunch of silicone on it. They seem to work ok.

Is there any issue with using it on the brake side I.e outer part of the axle? Whoever shortened my housing removed the stops for the inner seal making the diameter the same as the axle tube. Appears like this product should slide in.
