They work good, but they could be shorter

I bought these as replacements for the ones that came with my 55-57 Chevy disc brake kit. The ones that came in the kit ended up rubbing on the tire and I was afraid they would eventually blow out. I know they are universal, but it wouldn't hurt to use brake hoses that are shorter.

Good or not, time will tell.

This is the second set. One of the hoses in the first set started leaking where the rubber is crimped into the "banjo fitting" end of the hose. It doesn't drip but it stays wet with brake fluid at that spot. It was on the car for three months. I am hoping it was just a fluke with the first set. Car is down for paint right now and won't know more until spring.

Will they fit on 78-88 metric calipers

These hoses came in the complete front axle and brake kit. How do they adapt to steel thru frame brake line fitting 910-31361. Also, the hoses on the banjo end connection to caliper cause the hose to have a sharp bend. The mating surface on the caliper (916-31045) only allows the connection for the hose to face forward. Please advise. Thank You
