Got a spare Small Block Chevy engine and do not know how to store it? Afraid of damaging the oil pan using an unstable wood block setup or an old tire? Well, we have just what you need, our Rolling Engine Cradle you can safely store your Chevy Big Block or Small Block. It features strong, durable 3 inch metal casters for easy maneuverability. This cradle is built with premium steel for superior strength, yet it is a lightweight and versatile design that allow easy engine storage, mounting and installation. The front cross bar includes hardware storage for engine mount bolts when not in use and to keep them within arms reach when mouting the engine.

The engine cradle fits Small and Big Block Chevy engines on the rear lower bellhousing dowels/bolts and side engine mount locations. Due to 55-57 265 and 283 cubic inch engines having no side engine mounts, it is not compatible without fabricating new front bracket for the cradle mounts.

Great product, does what it was intended for.

I purchased this to hold initially hold a gen IV LS while I prep to pull a SBC 400. The LS bolted on to the bell housing and is support in the front by the front brackets (was going to order some adapters, but never got around to it, it's fairly secure, and works well. I was a bit surprised as I wasn't expecting to need to pull the flex plate though..

I would consider buying again, but probably wouldnt

Cradle will support engine fine, it's the products mobility that is in question. Two of the casters are seized and will not rotate around. This makes moving the engine much more difficult. I would return it if I did not need it now.
