I use these to latch my hood on a 32 Ford. They are quality, made well, don't waste your money on the cheap knockoff on ebay, they fall apart. These latch solid, very high quality, kinda expensive but worth the price.

I have these installed to hold the door to the enclosure that holds the PDM, transponder, CAN EGT module, and associated wiring. I also have a pair that helps hold on the front bumper. They get a good jostling and still work quick and easy.

The product works as designed and does what I want it to. I did struggle to get them aligned so that they would not bind. I modified the hood on my UTV for easy access and used these to latch it on. They are a great product.

What is the length of the threaded section of the part that has the button on it. Not the ball-headed stud, but the part that's anodized and sits outside the car?

What is the length of the stud? In my application (Exocet kit), I need the top of the stud to be around 1.25" above the mount.
