This Scoop was very user freindly
I purchaced this scoop to fit on my 82 camaro hood, I got it and looked it over,great quality,thick and not flemsley like some others I have used.It fit the lines of the hood with little effort and flowed good with the rest of the cars lines. Was easy to prepare and glass to the hood. If I decide to use a scoop on another project of mine it will be a Speedway Motors scoop.

I would still buy one but had issues.
The opening of this scoop was cut out very sloppy. Not straight angles and a few chipped places. First time it has happened with Speedway scoops. Just makes it more labor to straighten the opening out.

My hood has convex curves in two directions. I will have to adapt the scoop with some fiberglass. The way that the scoop is made, will make this easy;

many uses for this, you can bolt it on, rivet on or take some time to fiberglass the edges and mold it in for a one peice look.

This fit on my 03 s10 hood and turned out great. My lt1 s10 carburetor was hitting the hood on my truck . Why give 600 .00 for a cowl hood that everyone has . Old school look with a positive spin . It lets my 5 inch k&n air filter work .

Took some work and a little trimming to get it on my Lil Fishy but man oh man did people go nuts over how it looks. High enough to not have my velocity stacks open to the elements and still get plenty of fresh air. Great quality thick heavy fiberglass. I used all stainless steel fasteners on it. Old school cool, thumbs up everywhere I go.
