Pro-1 Chromoly Heim Joint Rod Ends, 5/8 Inch Hole, LH and RH

These Pro-1 rod ends are general-purpose, 2-piece, heavy-duty rod ends. They feature a chromoly steel body and are black oxide coated to resist corrosion. Heat-treated, precision ground ball without a race (metal to metal contact). Pro-1 ends will withstand a greater static load than our "Standard" or "Precision" rod ends.

Applications: Steering & suspension components on moderate to high horsepower applications.

Includes plain steel fine thread jam nuts. Special half-thickness nuts for securing steering heims to a panel or flange.

Assembly Tip: To ease assembly, be sure to run a tap or die through the threads on chrome plated fasteners and apply an anti-seize compound to prevent galling of the threads.
