The Powermaster 578068SPL XS Volt™ alternator is a serious high-output charging solution built specifically for SPL competition vehicles that demand extreme electrical performance. Using a GM CS144 case with a black wrinkle powdercoated finish, this alternator delivers a massive 300-amp output and is designed to support high-draw setups where dependable power is critical. Its straight mounting configuration, internal regulator, and included 6-groove serpentine pulley make it a strong option for dedicated competition builds, but it is clearly intended for off-road or competition use only and is not for street-driven applications.

What really sets this alternator apart is Powermaster’s XS Volt™ voltage control system, which gives users the ability to fine-tune voltage between 13.5 and 18.5 volts. That makes it especially useful for specialized electrical systems running 12V, 14V, or 16V setups. It is capable of producing more than 300 amps at top end and over 140 amps at idle, helping support demanding audio competition systems and other high-load electrical accessories.
