Posies Super Slide transverse rear leaf springs feature a domed pocket at the end of each spring leaf which houses a moly-nylon button. The buttons reduce friction between the spring leaves resulting in a smooth, comfortable ride. Spring is computer designed to offer a lowered stance while maintaining proper load capabilities.

Spring is great .... under packaged as its heavy and arkward and was shipped to europe so got pretty roughed up on route which is disappointing when you spend nearly a thousand bucks including shipping, some conversation from speedway but is all gone quiet so just need to be careful and dont order chrome items that can get damaged.

Spring itself was great. The center bolt holding the spring was obviously hacked off with a cutting wheel as was the bolts on the spring guides. Since you have to take it apart to install it you can't use any of that stuff over because the threads are so ruined.

Much better than the previous cobbed-up spring, at least it doesn't bottom out. I removed the top three leaves on install, may need to adjust after the spring settles

Free shipping as advertised, pain in the neck to install but that was expected.Overall I can't say enough good about Speedway Motors, great folks to deal with. I have put in another purchase for a new front spring, hoping it won't be a pain to install like the rear was. Speedway should include a six pack to help with the installation and calm the nerves. Looking forward to a very smooth ride from my model "A" Ford.

Hi i have installed this spring & all works well. My car sits a little higher than i hoped. Can i remove the top 2 or 3 leaves & still work ok? Could you advise if this has been done? Many thanks great product

How guys I'm going to use this spring on my model A coupe. I'm running with rumble seat & fenders will this be ok to take the weight of a fendered car? I'm fitting an 8" axle, & using your on top of the axle mounting kit. I take it the mounts have to be 46.5" apart? Cheers guys always a pleasure 👍

Just to clarify, the 46.5" spacing refers to the centerline of the leaf spring mounts, or the centerline of where you want the eyes of the spring to end up with the full weight of the vehicle on the frame, and a 45 degree angle on your shackles? (This would put the leaf spring mounts closer to 48.5", if you need to obtain that 46.5" at the centerline of the eyes of the leaf springs)
