Posies Super Slide Springs 1005L Details

Achieve a smoother, more comfortable ride with Posies Super Slide™ springs for 1928-1934 Ford front ends. The ends of the spring leaves of a Super Slide™ spring have a unique "dimple" shape that retains a moly-nylon button. This button works as a dry lubricant and stops leaf-to-leaf interference. This freedom from friction lets the spring move more easily, thereby giving a softer, quieter ride.
  • Made in the U.S.A. from high grade tempered steel
  • Reversed eyes and revised arch for a 2" drop
  • Get your ride lower without sacrificing ride comfort

The details say for use on "1928-1934 Ford front ends". A tech answered... "No, a stock model A spring should be 31.5", so you could use a 31" spring with a stock axle". Sooooo, if I have a stock '31 model A, this spring will not work? What spring would you recommend to get the front end as low as possible?

spring height ? with the spring sitting in the ends as pictured, what is the distance from the shelf or floor up to the bottom of the bottom spring on this model spring. I am checking to make sure I have frame clearance and can you get this one in chrome for me ? Thanks, Warren.
