    When GM came out with the Locking Steering Column in 1969 the Lock Plate was very difficult to remove without the Lock Plate Tool. The 910-32610 Lock Plate Tool makes quick work of a small but difficult task.

    Well - OK you can get along without this puller, but it makes the job a whole lot easier and less agravating. Worth the price even if you're only gonna use it once (Inevitably you'll use it more)
