Saved Time and Headache!
As a busy person I am always looking for little ways to save time and maximize the amount of work I can get finished in the garage. I don't get as much time as I would like working on my Hot Rod so try to plan out tasks ahead of time. I was installing some early Ford hubs on the front of my hot rod and needed to pack the new bearings. Despite being taught the old tried and true method of hand packing many moons ago I noticed this tool and picked it up along with some Lucas grease from Speedway. I was VERY happy taking this out of the package and using it. While you still need to do some work with your hands, this tool puts the grease in the hardest to reach spots first. Any additional work you need to do to fill bearings all the way up is much easier. There isn't a way to pack bearings that is not messy so don't expect to purchase this tool and complete the job in your Sunday best without getting dirty! With that said this tool helps speed up the process! I would highly recommend this tool to anyone needing to pack bearings! It is easy to use, works, and best of all it is very reasonably priced!

It was able to seat when tightening, so all it did was make a mess, treading was not right to loose, anyway ended up doing it by hand .

How does it work I had a bearing packer before and it had a tub to hold the grease then you pushed the bearing down into it. This tool does not appear to have any way of keeping the grease contained or forcing the grease into the bearing. Please explain how it works.
