Overall Assessment

The product in question, presumably chrome side pipes, boasts a commendable reputation amongst customers for its quality, practicality, and aesthetics. Users noted straightforward installation, with necessary clamps and brackets provided, along with the heavy wall steel construction, demonstrating the product's reliability and high material quality. Many users praised how the side pipes improved their vehicles' appearances, indicating satisfaction with the shiny chrome finish. Multiple reviews specifically mentioned the product's versatility, functioning well on a range of vehicles from a '61 Chevy panel truck to a '73 Javelin and a '68 Chevy Nova. Ensuring correct exhaust flow direction was identified as key for optimal performance. A few customers reported minor issues with dents, but these were managed and did not detract from the overall product satisfaction significantly. Baffles built into the pipes were highlighted as a positive feature. Overall, the product's ease of use, quality construction, and aesthetic appeal far outshines any minor issues noted, setting it apart from the competition.

These appear to be well made and are heavy wall steel construction with all the clamps and brackets to assemble. The only thing you need is to fit the inlet to your header collector and clamp or weld in position.

Nice Chrome Pipes, all the fitting were there, BUT I did find the ends of the pipes were dented and out of shape ? When the long box arrived it was ripped open in the middle, which I was concerned about, yes everything was still in it, but I could also see it had been dropped on it's end, which dented the ends of the chrome pipes ! You need MORE PACKING around these pipes.......thick Polistareen would have been the best thing as it's light and would protect the pipes better. I have now straightened out the two pipes and they are now fitted on the car....thank you.

My son and I are doing a resto mod on a 68 Chevy Nova. It is getting very close to paint. We per fit the side pipes and welded the brackets to the rocker panels. Everything is fitting great and should be a great look.

Is this a muffler also or just a pipe? The product is labeled as pipe w/ mufflers yet one of the answers states that there is no muffler unless one is installed between header and pipe.
