Really simple

Rebuilding an old Chevy. Had an 80's GM fuse box with 29, counted them, live leads just hanging there. It was a fire waiting to happen. Read the reviews and asked at a car show about the product. Removal, clean up of the needed wires and installation took just under 2 hours. Instructions were easy to read and understand. Hookup was just as easy. Would definitely recommend to a friend.

Beautiful to look at, expensive to install

Bought 2 for classic vehicles. Looks great and has enough circuits to hook up everything. Took 15 hours labor expense to install the first one; had to modify the car to make it fit. Speedway Motors was very kind to say the second one could be returned. Can't afford 15 hours labor twice! It may be OK if you're rewiring the entire vehicle, but retrofitting is a huge pain in the neck - literally because of the fuse block location.

I wanted to mount the unit upside down due to my fire wall configuration and I wasn't happy about the terminals having to be accessed on the sides of the unit. I disassembled it and flattened out the wings that the terminal strips mount on. I remounted the terminal strips on what used to be the back sides of the wings. It was a lot easier attaching the leads from the block to the terminals facing the front and it will be WAY easier mounting my wiring to the terminals. Down side is that all that nice lettering is on the back side now and I'll have to make up my own labels. It might not appear as neat as the way they intended but it is up under the dash and out of sight unless one is going to work on it.

Easy to use. Third one I bought.

We have converted a 35 Ford Coupe from 6 to 12 volt, some items stayed 6 volt, the new additions have gone to 12 volt. This item was instrumental in helping us accomplish this conversion.
