Hi, I bench tested the 1957 Dodge Power Wagon truck gauge (12 volt) with this sending unit and it works great. Needle moves in line with the float. One must realize to ground the gauge to the negative side of the battery on a 12 volt negative ground system (grounding is not shown in the wiring schematics)!!! My 1954 Dodge Power Wagon may not be speedy but Speedway's parts work just fine!

I have a 1948 F2 with a 1969 Mustang fuel tank in the rear. The sending unit uses the locking ring and not the bolt on sending unit. Will this sending unit still work are do you have different one to work with your Omege Kustom 5-Gauge sets. I do not have the dimensions of the sending unit mounting plate, the bolt hole circle and diameter of holes to see if it will work the lock ring type?
